Andy English ‘The End of May’

Description

Andy English wood engraving  showing a cottage garden with irises, foxgloves and a mischievous small hand reaching in with scissors. The print is signed and titled in pencil by the artist and on verso he had written  “Paper Trial – thin smooth creamy”  in pencil. It was printed by the artist on an 1865 Albion handpress in his Cambridgeshire studio. In very good condition.
