Michael Renton wood engraving ‘Boat on the River Rother’

Description

Michael Renton wood engraving, unsigned and not titled. The image is of a boat on the River Rother with Rye in the back ground. Initialled and dated ’65 in the block. The image has a slight vertical line in it, slightly off centre to the left. This is due to the block cracking. I suspect there are not many proofs of this image due to the deffect to the block. Printed on cheap paper. The sheet is creased, not affecting the image. Not listed in the book. Rare.
