Charles Houghton Howard drawing inscribed in lower margin in pencil ‘Souvenir of December-Jan 1955 from NKH & C.H.H’‘.  It has been drawn in ink on plain white paper, the top edge is serrated indicating that it came from a sketch book. The sheet has light handling folds and slightly ruckled from the ink, else very good.

Sheet size 125 x 190mm (5 x 7.5 inches)

Provenance: Gifted by the artist to Riehm Marcus; thence gifted to Inge Clayton. Riehm Marcus was a German émigré who worked for the architects Jane Drew.
