Winged bowl by Colin Pearson

Colin Pearson winged vase thrown in porcelain. Glazed in an a bronze glaze made from magnesium oxide . The pot is impressed with the Artist’s seal on verso. The pot is surprisingly light in weight. This particular glaze has to be applied thinly and perfectly as possible as it has a tendency to run. It is the same glaze that Lucie Rie uses on her bowl rims which runs down the sides of her pots. There is a white mark in the pot, and a small mark what appears to be from a small sticker, else in very good condition. A very fine piece by Colin Pearson.
