Provenance: David Coachworth Collection.
David Coachworth joined the Victoria and Albert ‘Department of Circulation’ in the late 1950’s as a museum assistant. In the early 1970’s he was involved in numerous exhibitions including ‘International Ceramics’ which was exhibited in 1972. It seems likely that his friendship with Colin Pearson developed during their collaboration with the exhibition.
