A lovely bright copy in publishers red cloth with gilt lettering to spine and blind stamped Cape logo on rear board. In the rare original un clipped dust wrapper with wood engraved illustrations to front panel and spine. A very good copy of the book in a dust wrapper. The dust wrapper has a small piece missing at top of spine, consequently the original red cloth spine is sunned where missing, lower edge of wrapper slightly frayed. Boards are very good. The first book to be illustrated by Ravilious and showing that, even at the age of 23 he was a master of wood engraving.
