Edna Lumb a good quality reproduction of a watercolour titled ‘Berwick Street Market’. Printed on thick paper, it is signed and dated 1988 in the plate.  The edition size would have been small as I suspect she commissioned and paid for these to be printed. There is a mark in the top right corner in the image, in the sky, otherwise in excellent condition.

Berwick Street Market is in Soho, London. Traditionally many tailors worked here and consequently there are many shops in the area selling material and other products needed for sewing. It used to be a very vibrant busy market.
