Item details

‘St Katherine’s Dock’ near Tower Bridge  and the Tower of London, on the North side of the  River Thames.  Named after the former hospital of St Katharine which was on the site in the thirtenth century. Poor hosuing which had developed around the area were knocked down for the site to be developed in 1825.
