The Edward Ardizzone print was printed by the Baynard Press , circa 1940. It is very large in size and has been kept rolled. The sheets does have minor tears/creases outside image in the margins and light vertical folds from being rolled, otherwise in good condition.

Edward Ardizzone’s World. the Etchings and Lithographs. NAP72 state that this lithograph was commercially printed in 1941 by the Baynard Press. This was an adaption of the work ‘Shelter Scene, Tilbury Shelter, Stepney’ These were a series of wine cellars under the railway arches at Stepney.
