‘Hold Fast By Your Teeth’. The First UK Printing published by Routledge & Kegan Paul, London in 1963. 4to. Not paginated. [64pp] Bound in original pictorial paper covered boards with a dust jacket. Profusely illustrated in colour by Bawden throughout. Top of spine bumped, dust wrapper has two tiny brown spots. Inside very clean with the odd thumb mark/ fold from mishandling. A very good almost fine copy. A collection of Bawden’s stories originally written for his own family, but were not previously published. Only the ‘Take the Broom’ story was privately printed previously for personal distribution by the author.
