Printed by Gill and Hague and published by Faber & Faber Ltd in 1934. This edition is rare and was printed in a small edition size.Unisgned. In very good condition.

Reference: Physick 682, Cleverdon 384, 51. The wood engraving was originally cut for Chaucer’s ‘Canterbury Tales’ published by ‘The Golden Cockerel Press in 1929. The edition was number 63 in the publications of the Golden Cockerel Press. Even today, it is highly prized by collectors. It is a set of four large books.
