Titled ‘Madonna and Child’ , the etching was made in 1924. A small engraving/etching printed in reddish brown ink on copper, printed on white wove paper. Initialled and numbered by the artist in pencil.This etching is from the edition of 50 as stated by Physick. The number ’50’ is written clearly in pencil, the number ’22’ can be seen in the photograph which isn’t visible to the naked eye.He must have used a very hard pencil. The paper has overall even discolouration, more of a cream colour, else very good.
