An original wood engraving by Gill for ‘Hamlet, Prince of Denmark’, Page 1, printed by Hague & Gill for The Limited Editions Club, 1933. The woodcut was subsequently printed from the original woodblock for the Douglas Cleverdon edition ‘Engravings 1928-1933 by Eric Gill’, printed by Gill and Hague, published by Faber & Faber Ltd in 1934, as mentioned in Physick. This was printed in a small edition size.
