Eric Gill wood engraving printed on thin japon laid paper made in 1930. Monogrammed and numbered 4 of 10. This is a mounted proof for the tail piece on page 199 of ‘Clothes’ written and illustrated by the artist. In good clean condition.

Felix Dennis was an English publisher, poet, spoken-word performer and philanthropist. His company, Dennis Publishing, pioneered computer and hobbyist magazine publishing in the United Kingdom. One of the three editors of ‘Oz’ Magazine.

Reference:Physick 722; Physick states that it was of an edition of 10 which were being sold for 10/6d Tail piece on page 199 of clothes’ by the artist, which was published by Jonathan Cape Ltd. in 1931.
