Reference:  Physick 290. Rare,   Physick does not mention First state, only Second State. (Although I do have the rare first state available for purchase on the web site)  .Physick mentions two proofs; 19A and 19B, both printed in the same year, 1924 and the same size 5.5 x 1.75 inches) . 19A was printed in an edition of 16 copies ; 19B printed in an edition of 25 signed copies and it was this block which was subsequently used for illustration to face page 4 of ‘Clothing without Cloth’ by the artist, number 75 of the publications of the Golden Cockrell Press, 1931; as plate 2 of Engravings 1928-1933 by the artist, published by Faber and Faber, 1934.

I also have the rare first state of this where Gill has only engraved the outline of Venus.

I am happy to take the print out of the frame for a condition report if requested.
