Description

Eric Gill wood engraving with intaglio made in 1925 title ‘The Sofa’. Signed in block as issued. Printed on thick wove paper. Trimmed close to the margin with remnants of paper on verso. Paper is lying unevenly, else very good.

Size 4.25 x 2.75 inches (110 x 70mm)

Provenance: Residue of the Golden Cockerel collection. Purchased at Bonham’s, Sale no. 20751,2013.
