Eric Gill  wood engravings, both designed as borders titled ‘Lovers’ and Lovers Facing Left‘, printed on one sheet.  Printed from the original block for Engravings by Eric Gill’.  Published by Douglas Cleverdon, printed by The Fanfare Press, 1929. One of 400 copies printed on paper specially manufactured for this edition with the number ‘94’ in top right corner as issued. There is a mark, see photograph, from impurities in the paper, else very good.  Not mounted / matted.

Both are: Image size 175 x 40 mm  (7 x 1.5 inches)

Sheet size 310 x 250mm  (12 x 9.75 inches)
