Reference: Physick 652, Cleverdon 355,46.  Representing the initial letter ‘I’ and an illustration to page 63, Vol.lll of Chaucer’s ‘Canterbury Tales’, Golden Cockerel Press, 1929.The wood engraving was originally cut for Chaucer’s ‘Canterbury Tales’ published by ‘The Golden Cockerel Press in 1929. The edition was number 63 in the publications of the Golden Cockerel Press. Even today, it is highly prized by collectors. It is a set of four large books.It was subsequently  published in Doulgas Cleverdon book.
