Felix Dennis was an English publisher, poet, spoken-word performer and philanthropist. His company, Dennis Publishing, pioneered computer and hobbyist magazine publishing in the United Kingdom. One of the three editors of ‘Oz’ Magazine.

 

Reference: Physick 716; Cleverdon 416. An original proof wood engraving by Gill for ‘Clothes’, Page 51, published by Jonathan Cape, 1931. The wood block was subsequently for illustration as plate 67 of ‘Engravings 1928-1933 by Eric Gill’, printed by Gill and Hague, published by Faber & Faber Ltd in 1934. Physick also states that the edition was 10 copies only and were sold for £1.10 by the artist.
