Eric Gill wood engraving ‘Eve’

Description

An original wood engraving printed from the original woodblock for ‘Engravings by Eric Gill’, published by Douglas Cleverdon, printed by The Fanfare Press, 1929. One of 400 copies printed on paper specially manufactured for this edition. With the number ’89’ in top right corner as  issued. The image has some white spots from the printing, a some light dark spots in paper,not foxing, else fine. Not mounted/ matted or framed.
