Initialled in reverse to lower corner of margin in plate. Published by Douglas Cleverdon, printed by The Fanfare Press, 1929. One of 400 copies printed on paper specially manufactured for this edition with the number ‘63’ in top right corner as issued. Very good. Not mounted / matted.

The artist refers to this engraving to the Rev Desmond Chute, dated 12th September 1924 in ‘Letters of Eric Gill‘, published 1947.
