Illustrated with eight wood engravings by Eric Ravilious plus Golden Cockerel device.The text is taken from the 1648 edition of the ‘Fragmenta Aurea’ of Sir John Suckling. Title page engraving repeated on front of dust jacket. Book condition very good. The dust jacket is slightly dusty/discoloured, some marks on verso and lightly frayed top edge otherwise very good.
