Eric Ravilious small serving dish ‘Harvest Festival’



Eric Ravilious ¬†designed small serving dish for Wedgwood. The pattern called ‘Harvest Festival’ is in blue and black and made in 1955 in Barlaston, Wedgwood. ¬†It is printed in underglaze black which is further enhanced by blue enamel colour with shaded band on border of loops and touches of blue on motifs of fish and vegetables. Mark: HARVEST FESTIVAL DESIGNED BY RAVILIOUS (in a circle) WEDGWOOD MADE IN ENGLAND & BARLASTON (printed in black) AL9984 (written in red). Dimensions: 325×260 mm Very light wear. Label for a show at Richard Dennis 1982 on underside.
