A fine impression printed on fine laid paper with ‘DHP.20’ written in ink on verso, as stated by Comstock that the etchings with ‘DHP and numbered in ink on the back, irrespective of the order of printing. The etching has been trimmed close to the margins with remnants of mount hinges on verso on top edge.

A particularly beautiful impression printed by the artist himself, inscribed in ink verso “D.H.P.” (Dover’s House Press). Originally entitled Summer Garland, Griggs re-named this plate A Sussex Landscape for the Royal Academy exhibition before changing its title to Launds, as it is now known.
