Fifteen original original wood engravings printed from the original blocks for ‘Engravings by Eric Gill’.  Published by Douglas Cleverdon, printed by The Fanfare Press, 1929. One of 400 copies printed on paper specially manufactured for this edition with the number ‘59’ in top right corner as issued. Very good. Not mounted / matted.

Proofs of an illustrations/initial letters for ‘Autumn Midnight’  by Frances Cornford, printed by the St. Dominic’s  Press, published by The Poetry Bookshop, London 1923. The block was subsequently used for illustration as Plate 59 in   ‘Engravings by Eric Gill’, published by Douglas Cleverdon, printed by The Fanfare Press, 1929. Three of the blocks were used in other St. Dominic publications.
