The painting by Francis Bott is titled ‘Espaces Concertes’. It is painted in gouache on paper in black, silver and white. The painting is signed & dated ’70  in pencil and has a ‘Schoellershammer’ blind stamp in top right margin. The sheet some surface rubbing and soiling, which is more noticeable in margins and can be mounted out,else in very good condition.

‘Bott’s style continued to develop throughout his career and in the 1960’s and the 1970’s, he embarked on two major pictorial series, namely Espaces Concertés and Cathédrales.
