Francis Bott mixed media on card titled ‘Espaces Concertés‘  in black, silver, blue and white. The painting is signed and dated ’70 in pencil.On the verso is a Galerie Hilt ink stamp on the and hand written notes. The painting has very light surface rubbing otherwise in very good condition.

Provenance: Purchased at the ‘Works from the  Studio of Francis Bott (1904-1998)’ Sale, Christie’s, London, 16th November 2006.

‘Bott’s style continued to develop throughout his career and in the 1960’s and the 1970’s, he embarked on two major pictorial series, namely Espaces Concertés and Cathédrales.
