Description

Francis Bott proof lithograph for the book ‘Métamorphose’ (plate V) . It is the same as the version used in the book. Printed on hand made wove paper with the printers registration marks, the crosses, at the top and bottom of the margins.   A small handling fold in margin, printing a little uneven, else in good condition.(Reference: Henze 1323)

The proof was printed for the publication of the book titled ‘Métamorphose’. The folio comprised of seven original zinc lithographs by Frances Bott and was inspired by a poem by Muggiasca. The book is printed on handmade paper and was published by Galleria Henze-Campion d’Italia in 1980.
