Joan Miró Lithographic Poster

The poster was made for an exhibition at the ‘Galerie Maeght Gallery’ in Paris. Although not dated, it was made in 1956 and was printed in an edition of 500 copies. Printed in lithography by the famous lithographers Mourlot, published by Galerie Maeght, for an exhibition titled ‘Terres de Grand Feu’.  It has some tiny dents within the image,see photographs, otherwise it is in very good condition.

Reference: Corredor Matheos, ‘Miro’s Posters’ . No.7:  One of 500 copies on standard paper. There was also an edition of 200 copies on arches which were signed and numbered.
