Small square 8vo. Bound in pictorial paper covered boards. Unpaginated. [32pp] . Signed by artist, Edward Ardizzone in ink on front end paper, below is the Surrealist bookplate of Andrew Murray. This is a picture book without words in gentle colour washes by the master of illustration. Dust jacket slightly sunned on spine and unclipped. A very good almost fine copy. Poor Johnny – everything goes wrong from the moment he gets out of bed on the wrong side. Johnny’s Bad Day has an unexpected ending but one that will comfort and satisfy child and parent alike.
