First published in 1913, this is the first edition with Edward Ardizzone illustrations, first thus. 8vo. 107 pages. Bound in bright yellow boards with a dark blue design on front cover and lettering on spine. Illustrated with drawings by Edward Ardizzone. On front endpaper, the half title, is the Surrealist bookplate of Andrew Murray. Dust wrapper not priced clip, with some old tears with some small pieces missing on the spine, where the holes are , the cloth has darkened slightly. Inside a very clean copy. else a very good clean copy. Rhymes include The Horseman The Huntsmen The Bandog The Little Bird Etc.
