Ray Fawcett drawing in black pastel, possibly a design for an oil painting. Circa 1970. As the drawing was not fixed, there is smudging from the pastels and there are soft handling creases to the paper, otherwise in very good condition.

Ray Fawcett, a talented painter & print maker, had early success in the 1970’s. His prints were sold through the William Weston Gallery in London and he had work in various exhibitions. However, by the late 1970’s he began to focus on his teaching career. The collection we have is from the 1970’s period.
