Ray Fawcett  pencil drawing by of a nude under cloth (?) from an old sketch book. The sheet has old staple holes along left margin; four punched holes along left margin outside image;some smudging in the margins; remnants of two old horizontal folds and some soft handling creases, else good.

Size 570 x 440mm  (22.25 x 17.25 inches)

Ray Fawcett, a talented painter & print maker, had early success in the 1970’s. His prints were sold through the William Weston Gallery in London and he had work in various exhibitions. However, by the late 1970’s he began to focus on his teaching career.  The collection we have is from the 1970’s period.
