Ray Fawcett drawing in pastel with four colours. The drawing is dated ‘Jan ‘74’ in pencil by the artist and is possibly a design for a print or painting. The sheet has some minor foxing in margins and old marks in lower margin, well outside image, otherwise in very good condition.

Ray Fawcett a talented painter & print maker, had early success in the 1970’s. His prints were sold through the William Weston Gallery in London and he had work in various exhibitions. However, by the late 1970’s he began to focus on his teaching career. The collection we have is from the 1970’s period.
In Fawcett’s own card mount. He must have liked this drawing as not only has he mounted it but also signed in pencil.
