Drawing by Ray Fawcett in colour which is dated ‘April ‘74’ in pencil by the artist. The drawing could have possibly been a design for a print or painting. The sheet has one small mark and one fox mark in top left corner; on the verso of the sheet there is charcoal smudging from where the paper has been in contact/sitting on top of a charcoal drawing and some soft handling folds, otherwise in very good condition.

Ray Fawcett, a talented painter & print maker, had early success in the 1970’s. His prints were sold through the William Weston Gallery in London and he had work in various exhibitions. However, by the late 1970’s he began to focus on his teaching career. The collection we have is from the 1970’s period.
