Item details

The image is of a young couple seated with the woman holding a baby, is a similar theme as his etching ‘Wayside family’ made in 1923, no 39 in the Campbell Dodgson’s 1930 publication ‘A Catalogue of Etchings and Engravings by Robert Austin R.E. from 1913-1930’. I suspect this was drawn at the same time Circa 1922 and may have possibly been a prelude to the final etching.
