Illustrated with twelve wood engravings by John R briggs showing famous places in Shaftsbury with a small description and and historical importance . The boards are heavy rubbed along lower edges and at all four corners. Internally there is an ink mark from ‘Coombe House Hotel, Shaftsbury , Dorset.’ on verso of front board, , else very clean and sound, partly un-opened .
