Six Satires by G.A.M. London: The Poetry Bookshop., 1917. First edition. 12mo. Original paper wrappers with a design by paul nash. The cover of this rare pamphlet was designed by Paul Nash. The author has never been identified.. This book has not been included in any of the standard bibliographies of Nash’s work. The only reference to it is from Causey who noted that Wyndham Lewis wanted to purchase the original design from Nash. the date of 1919 is given in Worldcat and sevral of the poems are dated 1918. The covers are detached, worn and frayed with several short tears and slight loss to upper left corner. there is a biro mark in left of the pyramid shape. From the collection of James King, who has been a John Simon Guggenheim Memorial Fellow and is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Canada, enjoys a distinguished career as an academic and a popular writer of both non-fiction and fiction. Published the book ‘Paul Nash. Designer and ilustrator’.
