8vo. Bound in light Blue cloth with black and silver lettering. The dust jacket and the frontis are both designed by Edward Ardizzone, First Thus. The book is illustrated with black and white line drawings, by Titmarsh, the original Victorian illustrator. On front end paper is the Surrealist bookplate of Andrew Murray. The dust wrapper is very lightly worn around the edges, the price has been badly clipped, else a fine copy.Scarce

Provenance: Andrew Murray, Director of Mayor Gallery, Cork Street, London. The Mayor Gallery exhibited Ardizzone s work in the 1960 s. Andrew Murray lent his personal collection of books and prints etc. to the travelling exhibition by Middlesbrough Museum in 1982.
