8vo.Bound in plain dark green paper wrappers with black lettering. .60 pages, Illustrated with black and white drawings by Ardizzone. On front blank endpaper is the Surrealist bookplate of Andrew Murray. Wrapper is worn and dented the front cover slightly pulling away from the text block. . Inside some pages are again dented with sporadic brown marks, else very good.

Provenance: Andrew Murray, Director of Mayor Gallery, Cork Street, London. The Mayor Gallery exhibited Ardizzone s work in the 1960 s. Andrew Murray lent his personal collection of books and prints etc. to the travelling exhibition by Middlesbrough Museum in 1982.
