Three Brothers and a Lady by Margaret Black, Edward Ardizzone, illustrator

4to, Bound in pictorial colour paper covered boards, 63 pages. Wonderful two and three colour illustrations throughout. On front end paper is the Surrealist bookplate of Andrew Murray. Dust wrapper is price clipped. The dust wrapper does have masking tape repairs on the verso, the masking tape being used on the top and bottom margins of the dust wrapper, which does have tears and pieces missing. The boards are worn along the lower edges and corners. There is also a little tape residue from the tape used on the dust wrapper along the spine, this has caused a vertical mark from residue on the back cover.See photograph listed. There is some discolouration on the endpaper, otherwise the book is clean and in good condition. A very acceptable copy.
