Two wood engravings printed on one sheet of hand made mulberry paper. Signed ‘Eric G’ in pencil with 6-6 in lower left corner and ‘last print’ written in the artists hand in pencil. The sheet is hinged to thin card at top margin with ‘For Peter Davies’ written in pencil in the card margins. The sheet has some very light foxing, otherwise is in good condition with no issues. Mounted .

Physick 385: (104) Girl on Carpet Proof of a design for a Tail-piece, 1926. The block was subsequently used for an illustration on page 7 of Uncle Dottery (E.R.G. 394) a Christmas Story by T.F.Powys, published by Douglas Cleverdon, Bristol , 1931. Printed on the same sheet as No. 105. Physick also states that Gill printed the two bocks (104 and 105) together with an edition of 6 which were for sale at £1.1.0 and numbered.
