This copy in qtr. morocco inlaid and gilt ruled geomeric pattern o spine, hand-printed paper covered boards and matching end-papers, original wrappers bound-in by Max Fonsèque. Faded at spine, covers a little rubbed. Maxime (known as Max) Fonsèque (1891 – 1965) was a student at the Ecole Estienne before entering Lortic as a young worker. His bindings with decorations running from one plate to the other are very characteristic and interesting. Very Good.
