William Gear drawing in black ink and blue wash drawn in Paris when Gear studied at the Academie Colarossi under Leger. This is an experimental piece. The surface of the paper is grubby with discoloration in lower right corner and there is a black spot above the right man’s head , else good.

Sheet Size 290 x 430mm  (11.5 x 17 inches)

The body of work culminated was shown in one of the first Surrealist Exhibitions to be held in Britain under the banner of the ‘New Era Group’.
