8vo. Bound in red cloth with gilt lettering. [vi] + 370pp. Dust wrapper designed by Lucien Freud, with his first name spelt Lucien on flap. Neat owners name written in ink on blank fly leaf.The dust wrapper is not clipped but has discoloured a little, is a little dusty and has some little wear along the edges with a small tear in top edge. A previous owner has reinforced the top edged of the dust wrapper with tape. Inside the front hinge has also been reinforced with tape, which I think is acid free conservation tape. A nice acceptable copy.
