Yutaka Takayanagi [Japanese 1941 ]

Yutaka Takayanagi painter and print maker, born in Tokyo. He studied painting under Kaoru Yamaguchi winning an award in 1960. He further his skills and studied print making under Komai and Takayanagi. He soon began using reliefs and collage moving onto to silk screens. In the late 1970’s he travelled around the United states, France and the UK as an arts researcher for the ministry of Culture.
