OULTON, Therese

Therese Oulton British 1953-

Thérèse Oulton artist and print maker, studied at St Martin’s, the Royal College of Arts , followed by a Boise Scholarship in Italy. Upon her return from Italy she had a solo show at Gimpel Fils, London to much acclaim. She has had many solo shows including Museum of Modern Art, Oxford, Galerie Krinzinger, Vienna, Hirschl & Adler Modern, New York, and Marlborough, London.

She was nominated for the Turner Prize in 1987 and is represented by the Mralbourough Galley in London., Her work is to be found in major museums and collections worldwide including the Metropolitan Museum, New York, Tate Modern, Museum of Fine Art, Boston, British Museum, V&A and the National Gallery of Victoria, Melbourne amongst others.

Although mainly based in London, she has lived for several years in Vienna, Paris, New York, and at present lives in London and Nice.
