Angie Lewin (British 1963-)
Angie Lewin is a linocut print maker, painter, and designer born in Cheshire in 1963. Lewin studied BA(Hons) Fine Art Printmaking at Central St. Martins College of Art and Design between 1983 and 1986, followed by a year’s part-time postgraduate printmaking at Camberwell School of Arts and Crafts. After working in London as an illustrator Lewin studied horticulture and a move to Norfolk prompted a return to printmaking. She uses a variety print making skills including wood engraving, lino cut, silkscreen, lithograph, and collage. Her work has been shown in galleries across the UK including a solo show at The Scottish Gallery, Edinburgh in 2020.
