Shelagh Wakely [British 1932- ]

Sculptor and artist in mixed media. Born and lived in London she studied at Chelsea School of Art and at the Royal college of Art She began making sculpture and had a solo show at Shelia David Gallery in 1975. She exhibited in a number of shows at Air Gallery, the Serpentine Gallery and in the Council traveling show titled ‘Graphics at Work’ with the ICA. She also had solo shows with the ICA and contributed work to the Coracle Press.
