Angus Suttie Cup shaped vessel in black glaze made circa 1985

Hand built in terracotta clay and painted in black with a red and white design painted in underglaze. Highlights are painted in gold and silver lustre. Lustre firing would need to have a separate firing at a lower temperature. Believed to have been purchased in Amsterdam in the 1985’s by the previous owner. A very tiny chip to rim, please look at photos carefully, otherwise in very good condition.

Provenance: Private collector and work Colleague of the artist when they both worked at the National Theatre.
